Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!
May 4-5, 2026 | Fort Wayne, IN
The retreat this year will be small and intimate. With spots for 24 participants from both English and Spanish speaking communities, each person will have opportunities to get to know our speakers, receive spiritual guidance, and one-on-one attention.
Our sessions will examine marriage formation in both the English and Spanish speaking Catholic populations. We will discuss how modern, culturally embedded ideas and constructs of marriage both distract - and support - the enduring theology of the Catholic faith. Participants will hear from our speakers, have time for Q&A, participate in prayer, community dialogue, and practical collaborative planning on how to meet the needs of couples and share the beauty of the marriage covenant.

““You cannot enter into the vocation of family life if you do not know how to love. To love is to desire to perfect oneself and the one loved, to overcome one’s own selfishness, give one’s self … Love must be total, full, complete, governed by the law of God and the eternity of heaven.”
